Just a reminder that the December Nashville Java Users Group is tomorrow Tuesday December 18th at 6:15 pm. This months speaker is Java evangelist Carol McDonald from Sun Microsystems. Carol has been traveling across the globe speaking at Sun Tech days, with a final 2007 speaking engagement at the Nashville Java Users group. This is a meeting you don’t want to miss!
The topic of the discussion is, “Comparing a Sample Application built using Java EE, Spring and Seam”. Examining a sample Application built 3 different ways:
- with JavaServer Faces, EJB 3.0 and the Java Persistence API,
- Spring 2.0, JPA, and JSF
- JBoss Seam
This talk will explain the implementation of a sample Online Catalog Application using JavaServer Faces, EJB 3.0 and the Java Persistence API. Then we will discuss the same application implemented using Spring 2.0, JPA, and JSF, and Finally we will look at the same application using Seam.
